Stefan Sagmeister - graphic designer and typographer.

I like how this is written on someones back and the type of writing, I also like the rhetorical questions that he uses.

I like this because its something everyone will feel like it relates to them but he has but it in a really simple kind of messy way, with all the differant types of type and differant sized lettering.

Noma Bar- Graphic designer

I really like how its a really simple image only using 2 colours and 2 shapes yet they make 2 differant images, I think his work is very clever.
I love this image I think it is so clever! I first of all like how simple it is and how there is only grey and white and the tiniest bit of red on the dogs tooth which shows that it is dangerous and deadly. I love how he only uses a tiny amount of colour to convey the nature of the dog. What else I love about this image is that he uses the negative space to turn into another image. For example the dogs mouth turns into a cats head and the cats mouth turns into a mouses head. This is thirdly really clever because it is like a food chain as the cat would eat the mouse and the dog would eat the cat. I feel that's why he has put the bit of red on the dogs tooth to convey this feeling of danger.

Matthew Williamson- Fashion designer

I really like this print. I like the bright colour of the yellow background and the contrast of the black, blue and red tones. I like how he has combined white into the background aswell so the bright yellow isnt too overpowering. I like how he has used organic shapes like flowers but then abstracted them and stretched them so that they look like they are dipping or melting.
I really love the bright colours in this wallpaper against the black background. I like how he has used just pinks and purples. I love the detail of the leopard and the peacock feathers.

Timorous Beasties

I love this image. I love how detailed it is and the white ontop on the dark pink so that it creates a lighter pink shade. I love how it is a mirror image and identical on both sides.
I absolutely love this image! I love how detailed is it and how the shapes and natural and organic but then abstracted and blurred out. I love the symmetry of it and the watery look. I love how the differant shapes and colours are layered ontop of each other but some are transparent so its gives a really nice burred effect.

Sara Fanelli- Illustrator

I really like how detailed and colourful the bird is. I find it really interesting how she uses human eyes on the drawings it gives them a werid quality where they look like there alive. I like the combination of the lifelike bird and the really abstracted and distorted person and the fact that they are sat on the bird. The whole image gives a werid combination of being really lifelike and fictional at the same time.
I like the muted colours in this image and the contrast between that and the colours of the cats bag which could suggest that it is an important part of this image. I really like the detail on the two animals and I love the contrast of the lifelike background and the fictional creatures. I also find it interesting how the two animals match the background of the opposite animal. I also like how the wolf is puling the cat and the cat is looking behind her it makes you wonder what the story is.

Olivier Kugler

Too be honest I dont really like his work I find it too overwhelming and busy but boring at the same time, but with too many words on it. I can appreciate that his drawings are good though and I do like the deatil but I had to find a quieter image like this one but I dont really like this one I find it really boring and I hate the grey but it was nicer to look at than the others becuase they were just too much. I do like the simple lines though and the perspective.
I did really struggle to find a second image that I liked but I did like this one because it wasnt too busy and I think that face is drawn really well. I really like how he does shading on faces and how he uses simple lines for detail and very faded quiet colours to convey shadows and highlights and the slight bit of yellow he has used in the hair gives a nice effect against the blue/grey tone.
